Have a visual problem to solve?

We work with Malaysian manufacturers and enterprises to scope, build, and deploy machine vision systems that fit your environment — not the other way around.

Why Cortexia

Built From Data Up

Every model starts with your actual sample data — not generic pretrained weights applied wholesale.

Edge-Ready Deployment

Models are optimised for edge hardware when low-latency on-site inference matters — no mandatory cloud dependency.

Integration-Focused

We connect vision outputs to your existing systems — MES, ERP, or warehouse platforms — so insights reach the right place.

Malaysia-Based Team

On-site visits, local language support, and a team familiar with Malaysian industrial and regulatory contexts.

Ongoing Monitoring

Deployed models are watched over time. If accuracy drifts, we flag it and work with you on retraining cycles.

Data Handled With Care

Client image data stays within agreed boundaries. We work under NDAs and follow PDPA-aligned data handling practices.

Common Questions

How long does a typical computer vision project take?

Timelines depend on data readiness and scope. A contained classification project can move from kick-off to deployment in four to six weeks. A full quality control system for a production line — including camera setup advisory and MES integration — typically runs eight to fourteen weeks. We give a clearer estimate after the initial scoping call.

Do we need to supply a large dataset before starting?

Not necessarily. We assess what you currently have and advise on whether it is sufficient or needs supplementing. For visual inspection tasks, even a few hundred labelled images can be enough to train an initial model — we then refine it as more production data accumulates. Data strategy is part of our scoping process, not an afterthought.

Can models be deployed on our existing cameras and hardware?

Often, yes. We start by reviewing your current camera infrastructure and computing hardware to understand what is feasible without additional capital spend. Where your existing setup is limiting — resolution, frame rate, lighting — we provide a practical advisory so you can make an informed decision before committing to upgrades.

What happens to our image data during the project?

Client data is handled under a non-disclosure agreement and we follow PDPA-aligned practices throughout. Images are used solely for model training and validation purposes. At project close, we discuss data retention or deletion with you according to your internal policies. We do not share or repurpose client data for other engagements.

Are the prices fixed, or can they change based on scope?

The listed prices are starting points for well-defined project scopes. Complex requirements — multiple camera streams, unusual defect categories, deep integration work — may affect the final figure. We are straightforward about pricing during scoping: you will have a written quote before any work begins, and we do not add costs without your agreement.

Do you provide support after deployment?

Yes. Post-deployment support — including model monitoring, performance reviews, and retraining when accuracy shifts — can be arranged as an ongoing engagement. We discuss support terms during scoping so there are no gaps in coverage after handover.
